Boxes From Germany: A GS Modification Thread

Dang it, meant to reply to saint about the Malibu headrests not the Opel ones
I'll have to dig up the pn. I just ebay'd the ones I got.

One from LaCrosse works. Shale color match 100%

Are those better at not sticking up so high and blocking the rear window? I think someone maybe posted Chevy Malibu headrests that were even lower profile?
Picture from previous page.
I am still struggling to find out if the Malibu's "beige" color match our shale.
Meanwhile, @Uniqez, do you mind to share the part numbers?

They are not as low as Opel and just a bit higher than Malibu ones. But definitely lower than stock ones.

I'm not quite sure on the part numbers (I think these are correct ones 26689141(142)).
I would just search for 2017 and up LaCrosse headrests.

Right? Lol they were not very light...

As for the wheels: Link

The offset and width is the same as the standard GS wheel. The only real difference is diameter and weight.
I've gone to this site for the wheels. How do I find the price and actually purchase them? I do not see a contact page either.

Unfortunately, there is no way to order from that website since they do not ship globally.

I mainly used it as a resource to confirm fitment and grab part numbers. From there, I searched the part number on various websites to get pricing. I was able to find ballpark figures, but ran into the problem of no one shipping to the US. I called a few dealerships and didn't really get anywhere there either... That's when I got ahold of Blitz.

Gotcha, seems like I'll be going through Blitz as I cannot locate them on eBay.

Has anyone tried these guys? Opel Parts
I have emailed them in the past. They can get parts if you have the part numbers. They got me a quote in the past. Never ordered though. They were quick on email replies.

Here are better shots of both the malibu rear rests installed. The only real difference that i notice between the opel rears and these are the malibu has black stitching instead of the white.

Any updates? I just bought a set of Opel headrests for my 2018 Regal GS after reading this thread. Also have my eye on a set of LED tails but not sure I want to go through the hassle just yet. I have enough project cars without turning my daily into one haha

I finally got around to having the GSi/VXR spoiler painted about a month or two back . After letting it cure for a week or so, I tackled the installation. I need to take better photos but here's one for now... I have been a little behind on the car washes for any decent photoshoot 🙃:
GSi-VXR Spoiler.webp

It looks great from all angles, but it really does transform the rear end. To me, it seems to widen the overall appearance of the car. And one thing I was not anticipating was being able to see the spoiler in the rear view mirror!

If anyone is curious about the removal of the original Regal lip spoiler and/or installation of the larger spoiler, let me know and I can make How To post in a step by step format with a few photos. This process will also work for any aftermarket spoiler since the GSi/VXR spoilers are a little harder to get ahold of.

I would be interested in the how to, along with pics showing how much you can see in the rear view mirror.

By chance where did you buy the spoiler? Only had one vendor respond and their quote for an unpainted spoiler seemed a bit far fetched.
