I recently became the owner of a 1999 Buick Century Limited equipped with ABS brakes. A few days ago I noticed that the BRAKE light on the dashboard (the one which goes out after you release the parking brake) was staying on after I released the parking brake and started driving.
I have not noticed any change in the behavior of the brakes while driving. I've checked the master cylinder reservoir and I'm not losing any fluid. My question is whether this a problem with the ABS system or with the brakes themselves. Also, can anyone give me a ballpark figure as to how much this will cost to remedy?
