Encore 2017
Hi everyone, I'm new to the Buick Encore forum!!

I just recently bought a totaled 2017 Buick Encore Essence that I repaired with the help of my father in law (who's a mechanic). Everything is in working conditions and can be repaired except for the left headlight assembly where the control modules were ripped apart from the accident...

The headlight assembly is the LED variant unit (no halogen bulbs but full LED), I managed to get the headlight control module for the assembly and the high and low beams are working now except for the turn signal, I wasn't able to find a new LH drivers headlight LED turn signal module so I had to buy a used one from Ebay

But still Im not able to get the left turn signal to work...

We have done the following testing:
  1. Checked manually each LED on the new module (we managed to get 3 LEDs to turn on) could this be the issue?
  2. Tested the connections,
    1. Signal is getting from the headlight control module to the LED turn signal module connector.
    2. Signal is getting from the headlight control module to the LED turn signal module.
  3. Checked the fuses and relay boxes, none was blown out though I wasn't able to find a fuse or relay that directly affected the turn signals
Right now my mechanic thinks the problem is the Left Turn Signal Relay but I'm not able to find the location, anyone knows where it is?

What other possible solution can I try to get the Left Turn Signal to work? A new assembly is almost $1000+ so wouldn't want to buy one yet if there is other possible solutions...

Thanks for the support in advance!

Hey. I tried looking for the turn signal module however no luck. I did find the headlamp for about $720 brand new from GM (I didn't know they were that pricey OUCH!!!).

The only thing I can tell you is to find a rear crashed Encore and take the lamp off of that one.

Good luck.

Yeah it is really expensive and the only part that doesn't work from my assembly is the turn signal and DRL, I been checking eBay every other day but haven't found one for the left side, only right :/.

On another note, i have found some headlight assembly's that are listed as "halogen" rather than LED that are cheaper, would the halogen assembly fit my car that used the full LED?
