Body looks clean. I have a very clean 04 lesabre, but I'd love to have a park avenue. It's nice that you're saving her.
I live in Michigan. Detroit at that. Our roads are full of potholes and salt. She’s worth saving.

Rust repair. This stopped my frame swap dead in its tracks. Might as well repair from while everything is out…. Right ?

I live in NY, so same here in the winter months if storms come through. Luckily my lesabre was garaged kept by the original owners it's whole life. It only had minor surface rust and I addressed that myself in my driveway. Unfortunately my car had a spun bearing when it bought it so I did do a motor swap.

Frame swap complete. I did find that the E-brake holders are missing in the 06-11 frame. Have to weld those tangs on the new frame. I still have to weld the rear leveling sensor and bracket on still. And weld the exhaust back together. Will be this week.

Who likes my moon hubcaps ?

Yah, you know what I mean. Winters are crazy, especially if you’re in upstate New York.

This car has low miles. From original owner. Probably $7k in receipts came with it.

My car has 55k miles on it. The new block has 3k miles on it. Unfortunately the original owners did not maintain the engine properly at all and she gave out at 48k miles. But she does look and run great now! Not even a tear on the leather seats. The best part is, no car payment. Only $80 a month for insurance. To me she's worth it. My next project is having the headliner re done, it's sagging and being held up by pins.

Too bad it went out at such low miles. Doesn’t seem like anyone could do that much damage to it in such little miles. Too bad.

Hate when those headliners sag.
3M spray adhesive. Put it in thick. Especially in the corners. They sell that headliner foam backed material stuff at fabric stores near me. Ours is called “Micheals”

I missed this post before. I’m glad I can finally see these in action
