Car is locked and has a dead battery

So the car is locked and has a dead battery from what I'm assuming because when I go to use the key fob or even insert the key in the driver side key hole they both do not do anything, such as unlocking or relocking the doors. I should also note that I left another pair of keys in the ignition which are in the accessory position because I was jamin' out to some music haha. If you guys could help that's great, if not I'll probably just get a locksmith or something to come on by.
