Car turns off and back on randomly while driving

I have a 97 Buick park avenue and it has a problem I don't know how to diagnose. Randomly while driving it will shut off and turn back on like you turned the key off and on. Any ideas?

It could be the fuel pump cutting out or a bad ignition switch or something else. Not easy to diagnose if it only happens randomly.

I'm not sure it is the fuel pump because it acts like when it does it like the key is turned off then back on

Two questions:
1. Do you have a check engine light on the dash?
2. Has there been any recent service or repair work done on the vehicle?

I get it to. I believe what's happening is you are close to another buick and both vehicles are reading each other's signals, ie identical codes, so when crossed the vehicle turns off. Then as the signals get further apart it stops being crossed up and states back up. Nor all buick but with so many made, some codes are either identical or very close
