My check engine light is on for a evap code and I have tried everything please help 2005 Buick lesabre custom

EVAP codes are somewhat difficult to track down because of the system itself and unfortunately it's not just one common item. Purge solenoid seems to be the go to if its parts tossing along with the gas cap, beyond that it gets into the rest of the components. Unless you have a professional scanner or possibly a smoke machine it really hit or miss for the DIY.
Hoses, canister, connector are somewhat all suspect from the gas tank to the engine bay. It's one of those repairs that you may get lucky and hit the correct part or decide to have shop do it. I had a EVAP and apparently something had nibble on a hose on top of the gas tank.
