So I replaced my battery in my 2006 Lucerne and now the compass says “CAL”. So I did the calibration in by driving in circles and still doesn’t work. So can anyone point me in the right direction to where the actual sensor is for this so I can make sure it didn’t come unhooked? Also as for the compass zone I live in Wisconsin not sure what zone I need to be in any help would be appreciated thanks

Did you read the sections in the owners manual depending on which mirror type you have concerning calibration?

i find that if i just drive it for a few months it'll randomly say "calibration complete" then work again. the driving in circles thing doesn't seem to do anything. just make sure you have the correct compass zone set and be patient. i swapped in a compass mirror i got from the junkyard and it always works no matter what.
