Has anyone had any problems with their suspension being noisy? I've had to have both front strut mounts on my '13 Encore replaced already because they sounded like squeaky bedsprings when I would hit even a minor bump. Now the whole suspension sounds like something needs to be oiled in a bad way. I will say this is the most I've ever had to take a car into a dealership, and I've had it less than a year. It's very discouraging. 🙁

Same here. It sounds worrisome. Also my car (2014 Encore) violently shakes when in drive at a stop.

I have a 2017 Lacrosse and it has this creaking noise that sounds like it is coming from the front end. I have taken it to the dealership 3 times and after every repair, it still is making this noise!! Has anyone had this problem and if so what is the fix?

I still have the problem. They tried twice to fix mine. It sounds like rubber against metal when you hit uneven surfaces as the suspension flexes right?

I have a 2019 Lacrosse that Has this same noise that you're talking about. It's at the dealer right now. Will let you know what they say and if they have indeed fixed the problem. I'm afraid, though, that the results will be similar to yours. And that it just won't be fixed. New car, I've had the car 8 months.
Buick touts such a quiet vehicle, so I'm hoping...

I have a 2016 Encore and after it was a year old, I had the front stabilizer bar replaced and then both front struts replaced at different times in 2017. Now, the squeaking just started again on the right side. Back to the dealer.

You all should investigate getting Moog bushings for your suspensions to silence the squeaks. Sway bar bushings, end link bushings, whatever suspension parts require bushings are probably the culprits in the cases noted above. The forum I used for my previous car often touted Moog as an answer. The Encore link is below but the main site offers a wide assortment of parts for other makes/models.

Sounds like control arm bushings are bad. I've also seen new control arm bushings installed without pre-loading will also cause this.

I have the same problem, when accelerating forward or breaking if going in reverse. Not while braking going forward or accelerating in reverse. I will take the beast to the shop and let you know. I had front struts replaced about 3 years ago, and the car is regularly maintained.

GOT THE SAME ISSUE, IF IT'S ALRIGHT, MAY ASK WHAT WAS THE COST FOR THE REPAIRS. THANKFUL FOR YOUR INPUT 🙏✌️

I have a squeak and creek on the passengers side front wheel everytime I hit a speed bump. I took the wheel off to have a look but before that I turned it with both hands side to side to see if maybe it was bad tie rods but it had little give. Then I pulled it back and forth from the top and it had little give so wasn't thinking at that point it was a bad ball joint.

However when I got the wheel off and looked around, all the bushings looked pretty solid except the ball joint which had a cracked boot and leaking. That's gotta be the culprit if you ask me but with these cars the ball joints are not pressed in, they're bolted on....when replaced but riveted on from the factory which means you gotta cut the rivets off to remove them and bolt the new one in. I will get to it eventually.

My wife has a 2021 Envision with 20,000 miles and hers is squeaking bad. We plan on making an appointment and taking it in.

Doesn't really seem to matter whether or not that it's an Encore or not. Seems to be on a few Buicks. I have a 2017 LaCrosse and they found out that the noise was coming from the lower control arm. They replaced it under warranty and this was a year ago give or take, and sadly the noise is coming back and have to take it back to the dealer. Hopefully this isn't an every year occurrence.
