Cross Rail

Hello Everyone!

I just bought my 2010 Buick Enclave, and was looking for the cross rails for the luggage rack. Only thing is, I noticed that it is a solid side rail, and all the the cross rails that I am finding connect by going around. The only one I can find that will work with the solid rail costs around $200.

Does anyone have any suggestions? We are taking a trip soon and would like to be able to use a cargo box or something similar on the roof.

I have a 2011 without cross rails......I needed to put a cargo box on the roof but had on way of tying it down.
Found stainless steel "U" bolts at Home Depot....they have about 1 1/2 spread. I purchased extra stainless nuts and bracket for each and made the assembly shown.
Pop off the rear trim on the roof rails and slide the unit into the track. Position where needed and tighten the nuts that are exposed, this locks the assembly in place.
Worked like a charm and using stainless, they do not rust.
