Crossbar detached under seat of 2020 Tourx

We bought a 2020 Tourx that is no longer under warranty. Recently, the crossbar under the drivers seat detached. We’ve had three welders inspect the issue in addition to the dealership, and all have determined that the weld does not appear to have been done properly when the car was manufactured. Unfortunately, Buick has only recalled 341 Tourx for the same exact issue and is refusing to work with us on this issue. From what we’re seeing, this issue appears to be impacting a heck of a lot more than the 341 cars they recalled. Anyone else encounter this? Buick quoted us $1,200 for the repair.
