The lines on the rear window are for the defroster. The antenna line is embedded in the windshield.
Not sure if you misunderstood me, or me you. That's what those line are? Antennas? I didn't know that. I'll get the tint then hopefully will keep the interior and dash protected and the heat down
Ok now I understandNot sure if you misunderstood me, or me you.
Most of the lines in the rear glass are for the defogger. But up at the top of the window in those 3 vehicles (same model and generation) are a couple lines for an antenna.
In my 2005 LeSabre, the AM/FM antennas are in both the front and back windows, at the top of each.
I would go out and look at my car but I don't feel like getting out of my recliner. It's just not that important...when I go back out I'll check. I remember the first windshield antennas were introduced in the 1969 GM cars and the radio reception has always been lousy compared to a regular antenna. Not sure if you misunderstood me, or me you.

I believe the radio antenna is located in the front windshield. The rear lines are for the defroster. That's what those line are? Antennas? I didn't know that. I'll get the tint then hopefully will keep the interior and dash protected and the heat down
I don't think I have that line on my windshield but I have the rear lines. So that won't cause any problems with window tint? I get pretty good reception on the radio btwOn my 2oo5 there are:
- two sections of lines not connected to each other on the REAR window
- top section is for the antenna, and has 5 lines on the driver's side that extend all the over to the passenger's side
- bottom section is for the defogger, which starts where my home's roof meets the right side of the image
That big blob is my rear dashcam. The little blob to the right in the image is the antenna connection.

- one small wire on the FRONT window for the antenna
If the window tint is of good quality and properly applied it shouldn't be an issue. I've had my last 6 cars tinted and never had an issue with defroster lines.I don't think I have that line on my windshield but I have the rear lines.
