Hi, all. The driver's door panel on my '96 RMS completely fell apart. I acquired a spare, but it has some problems. Looking for some advice on how best to fix. Any info appreciated.
  1. Per the photo, one of the clip mounts is broken. Have no idea how to fix this.
  2. Much of the interior padding is loose. What kind of glue is used for this?
  3. Per the other photo, the plastic around the door handle is cracked. Would epoxy be good enough for this?
  4. Last, any recommendations on what can be done to generally reinforce before I put the panel back on?

if you still have your original door panel you can hot glue/plastic weld the door clip holder back into that spot.

As far as getting the interior handle trim fixed, just go to a junkyard. Those can be had pretty easily actually and are very easy to replace as you know.

Be sure to use the correct door panel clips.
