Emergency, Please Help

So I was replacing some stuff on my Century and now that everything is put back into place the only thing left standing is this hose connected to the intake and I've been trying for hours to put it back from where it came from but have no clue what to do 🙁 I go into work in five hours so I need to get this done. Please help.

In the picture it looks connected so what exactly is the issue?

You need to include what year & engine for any help here. The Buick Century has been around for about that long, and had at least 25 engine combinations during that time!
