Would someone tell what is the meaning of a small green symbol in the dashboard, it is like a vehicle with a small "-" inside❓

Sounds like it is the symbol telling you lane assist is turned on.

The vehicle icon that shows up on the dash with the green light is a part of the adaptive cruise control system. It's telling you that there is a car ahead that the vehicle detection system has detected. Like the orange or amber car symbols you see in the mirrors when a car is on either side of your vehicle to alert you to those that could be in your blind spots.
