I would love to make my regal sound as bad-ass as it looks. I have a lease and was wondering if there were any options i had that are fairly inexpensive and effective. I want it to sound like this lol :happydanc

Same here. I want to give my GS a little more grunt. There's a member here that did a Borla X1 and it sounds pretty good. But I'd like more of a deeper sound a la infinity as you suggested.

I've only got the premium, but in interested in the same thing. I've seen a kit by Magnaflow I think but without hearing one or already getting opinions from someone with one I don't want to pull the trigger.

Agreed ^^. I'm running the catted zzp dpipe and it really woke up the exhaust

No options like those for my '14 GS yet 😠

These ecotec motors kind of sound like poo with exhausts on them. I've looked at different exhaust setups on cobalts, HHR's and the couple regal setups that have been done. I pulled the trigger on a magnaflow 5x8x18 muffler since advance auto has 35% off online orders right now and hope to install it just behind the resonator on the car. That was based on trying to match the setup found here:

The regal magnaflow catback is far too quiet. I'm also going to have my muffler guy chop the suitcase mufflers out and see how it sounds with just a resonator. I predict it'll be far too loud, but without knowing the design of the factory resonator, I can't say for sure. That's a long ways out though, probably november/december time frame. Whatever you do, post up results.

I am also considering possible exhaust changes to give the car a better growl and to give his song more attitude.

However, based on poor quality and durability issues I have had with Magnaflows in the past, and that they will not stand by their warranty, I will not consider the brand.
