Hey everyone i finally got a regal gs. its a 2019, black, fully loaded, with 39k miles. an image of it is attached here!

I have some questions though.

1. I noticed after i bought it that the auto-stop-start function was disabled and when i opened the glove box there is a long usb cord going into the back of the the dashboard. I was planning on disabling that anyway, but i want to make sure there was nothing else installed on it like tune software or anything else. i would also like to know which software was used, apparently there are a few different entities that make the ASS disabling software. Is there a way to find this out?

2. the side skirts have a gap between them and the body towards the back of the car. when you look into it it seems some of the double sided foam tape is letting go. has anyone else seen this before? the car has some bumper to bumper warranty on it so i was planning on having it addressed with that.

3. does anyone else find the metal gas and brake pedals slippery?

1.) Can't really help ya there, mine is all stock in that regard...

2.) This is very common and there's actually, a Technical Service Bulletin for it. Rocker Panel Gap Thread and TSB

3.) I don't find them slippery at all. Are the black rubber "dots" on the pedals missing? They should look like this:1692724082032.webp

1. okay, ill keep researching.

2. thank you for that! i will print that out.

3. yes all the dots are there, maybe it was just a combination of my shoe soles and them being wet from rain..

as a side note for the future, i will definitely be looking into getting the rear headrests and spoiler from opel/holden. I did see a thread on that a few months ago.

Congratulations. Welcome to the buick community. If you from a place who got snow you will love the awd system on this car.
i am! one of the reasons why i chose this car is because i need AWD in the winter

Congrats on your new ride. I predict that you will love it! My ASS is disabled but it is a module up in front under the hood, so I’m not familiar with yours. These cars are superb in winter.
