Looking for the correct way to raise the front end of the vehicle and apply jack stands for oil change. I'm savvy on where to put the jack stands, and to ensure that they are well seated. I have a floor jack, but am really unsure of the right point to lift from. I'm under the impression that if i lift one side at a time, and put the jack stands in, it will cause damage. I'd like a solid middle point to lift from. Or IF it's even possible to do it like this. Thanks.
Also, I know ramps are a thing, I just had to buy a floor jack to change the water pump. Would be great to use it and the jack stands. lol
