Up for saleos my 76 Skylark. Odometer reads 86,xxx but actual miles are unknown. Tktle says odometer discrepency. This thing is bone stock! Hubcaps to am/fm radio. No dents anywhere, paint is a little faded. Interior is in good shape except for the headliner and the driver's seat is worn. Has landau top that's in fantastic condition.

The bad thing is the th350 is dead and needs a rebuild. I had bought a used multi fit th350 and found out after the install its bad, has reverse only. But on the other hand I have the original trans I'm throwing in the deal.

I'm the third owner of this car, firsst owner passed away and left it to his neighbor. Sometime before the second owner passed away the timing chain gave and it sat in his garage for five years. That's where I come in. Put new timing chain, water pump, oil pump with wear plate, thermostat and long story short the engine runs like a top. Drove the car for a few months before the transmission crapped out.

So that's where I'm at. Don't really want to sell it but I need the money and thought I'd try to sell it to a buick fan since the people here care aboit their cars and know what's cool.

I live in Albuquerque NM so I don't know how to ship it if you're far away???
I'm asking $1000. That's what I've got in it, just trying to break even.

Well after much back & forth I've decided to not sell my Skylark. It still sits at my house waiting for me to fix it. The plan now is to find a reasonably priced Chevy 350 with the 700r4 (gotta love that extra gear, especially with the extra hp) and put that in my ride. Then there's the question of what to do with the 231 odd fire? Guess I'll cross that bridge later. Thanks to all you guys! Cheers
