I've been debating the Fortin remote start for months and finally got it.

I have the 2020 opel insignia, and the fortin page doesn't state that it support 19-20 siggys at all, and the 2018 aren't supported by the plug and play t-harness.

However the 18-19 regals are supported by the T-harness, however the 2020 isn't.

So i just took the risk and got the GMT-6 to try it.

It worked perfectly. Install took an hour (just because i couldn't follow instructions properly). If i do it again, it'll probably take 10-15 minutes.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to this type of thing, and i was surprised how simple it was.

Only downside is you need a windows PC for the installation. (or a virtual machine on a mac).

GM doesn't offer the remote start here (not even as an option). so this was the only choice. And it uses the oem remote.

Lastly, i've noticed prices vary greatly on it. Website days 220 dollars, but you can find it for as low as 75 usd sometimes. You'll also need to get the flashlink which ran about 40 usd.

Mine came with remote start, but thanks for sharing as I think many here would be interested in a clean install.
