69' Skylark
All,

I have a 69' Skylark (350) with a newer type fuel filter. I want to replace it with an OE style. Can anyone share a photo from the underside so I can see what the fuel lines and filter look like so i know what I need to replace?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info. If possible, please provide some photos.

Thanks again.

Here’s what is there now. Id like to make it original. Ive seen what appears to be a hard line coming from the pump but I can’t seem to find any clear photos of it.

I don't see any photos. The stock fuel line was 3/8" metal line with 5/8-18 male inverted flare fittings on both ends. This is what it looked like,

The metal line and fittings look like this,

You would need to buy a length of this and bend it using a tubing bender. Not easy to do. You may need to cut it and re-flare the line to get it exactly right.

The only place I know that sells pre-bent fuel line is inline tube, but I don't see what you need there,

You can find them for the Quadrajet, but not the 2 barrel carburetor.

The rubber line is stock, the fuel filter is not. Your fuel filter should be in the carburetor. The metal line goes up to the carburetor. The rubber line is the feed (suction) line. It should connect to metal line up near the control arms and frame. The other nipple is for a vapor return. You should cap that off if you are not using it.
