Getting a message saying shift to Park

I had the shift to park issue in November and they changed out the sensor, after Christmas the issue started up again, I took it in and they recalibrated the parking brake and the issue went away. Today it started up again every time I turn it off. I wiggle the shifter and it goes away. I called the dealership and scheduled a service appointment. Is anyone else having reoccurring issues with shift to park after turning off the vehicle?

I had mine fixed last summer, it's not a sensor or recalibration fix,it's a shifter mechanism replacement. Dealer should know there's a repair bulletin on this problem.

It always amazes me how dealers often are not aware of the TSBs that are out there.

having problem with shift to park light come on. reshift to reverse then back to park then i can shut ignition to off. trying to find out if it a cable adjustment, or shifter needs to be replaced or something else. 2022 encore 13,000 miles, warranty exp. also replace fuel pump at 8,000 miles, not looking good for a buick for a replacement. tia.

There is a service bulletin for shifter replacement should still be covered. When mine did it I could flick the button on the front of the shifter and it would stop, did that until the dealer got the parts and fixed it.

tks /i seen the service bulletin, but figure the auto is out of warranty. with no recall notice, the dealer may not resolve the issue. i could replace the part myself, would have find out if there are aftermarket parts available or dealer parts only.
