Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows where to get aftermarket headlamps (that are different from oem)? i have a big crack in my passenger side one, with a little one on the turn signal, so i figured it was a good excuse to look into different ones. my car is the only one in the garage that seems to get chips and scratches 🙁 i know i see the projector lamps on some of the sigs on here, but i cant find any so im assuming they're custom :/

i've already got the order for 4 light sequential turn signals out back though. i cant wait for those to come in 🙂

also! completely unrelated to headlights... does anyone have a solution for the lack of fidelity in the speakers on 91-93s? every time i move my left leg, the sound changes. i replaced all the stock speakers with pioneer ones, but i want to somehow get speakers up higher... like around ear level. i know they have surface mount ones i could put on the dash, but im curious to see if anyone else has any solutions, heh.

also, if i go with a center channel speaker with a head unit (pioneer mvh-p8200bt) that only has 4 channels, im guessing i should combine the left and right channels? stupid question, i know.

you're out of luck with the headlight as the RMS uses it's own modules. No one makes aftermarket better looking one. You make your own.

How do i go about doing that? ive done a few google searches and nothing has come up. would i have to find someone good in plastics?

If you're interested, I have a set of stock headlight assemblies out of a 92 RMW. I didn't notice any cracks or fogging inside. Make me an offer.

visit a place like the retrofitsource or lightwerkz.. Your biggest hurdle is clearing the stock lense. Once cleared, you can mount virtually any projector you can fit in the housing behind it..

House, the RMW lights wont fit, sorry :/

would i have to grind the fresnel lens down to make it clear? how doable is that? haha

You're going to have to do A lot of sanding. It can be done.. PLaces like lightwerkz or similiar offer such a service..

Really? Is it the year difference or the RMS vs RMW? I'd think the headlights would be the same between RMS and RMW for the same year at least.

The sedans got a completely differently style'd front clip (among other things) the wagons got a front style identical to the caprice (among other things).

those look awesome! thank you!!! ill start saving asap 🙂

You're going to need some serious cash flow.. However now things have gotten cheaper
you can get a set of Bi-xenon Projectors for $300.00. Not sure how much they charge to clear the lenses. Then there's your labor into mounting the projectors. Wiring harness and HID cost.. You looking at $600+ by the time you're done. Plus the cost of a spare set of lights.
