I have a 2012 Buick Lacrosse. Love it to death but have an issue with the HUD. Eventime I go to crank the car the HUD is in a different position from when I left it. Its usually way higher. When go to lower it, it will not go down until I tap on the dash board then it will fall into place and I am able to adjust it. Dose this mean it is going out or some other issue?

You definitely have some issue as it is stationary and does not usually move around on its own. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the mechanics behind the HUD so you are going to have to take a look at it.
