Hi everyone, I just purchased a 94 RMW and the main issue is a heater problem. It constantly blows hot air, i cant "change" or "set" the speed of the fan .... the a/c obviously doesnt work either.
I just read all threads related and a lot of people have similar problems but not exactly the same ... i dont live in the USA so i want to make sure im ordering the right parts to solve the problem.

So the AC/Heater fan does not work at any speed?
Does the AC compressor run?
Have you checked the AC system charge with gauges?
Do you see a hot water control valve in one of the hoses connected to the heater core?

I dont know if the ac compressor run ... no matter what buttons i press, only hot air comes from the vents.
I have not disambled the dashboard yet to access the heater core.

If the fan does not work at any speed, you have either a fan motor failure, or blower control resistor/ module failure. You may also have an actuator blend door failure. You are getting heat, so why would you want to " access the heater core" unless it is leaking coolant?

My question about the heater control valve referred to the engine compartment not the dashboard.

Here's diagrams on the system which might be useful in identifying parts and the system layout. Plus help in working off the same page for troubleshooting. If the fan motor is not operating check fuses and relays, then check the motor connector moving on to motor itself if all are operating properly then it may be the HVAC control module. On the distribution of air check the vacuum lines and actuators are operating correctly.
