Hey guys, new here and hoping you can help.

1992 buick regal 3800, starts up great when cold however after driving for a few miles and it get up to temp it stalls out (just loses power, pressure etc, no jerking or noise)

finally was able to get it to a part store and it pulled a code 43 for knock sensor circuit but there is a lot of conflicting information on line about WHERE the knock sensor itself is located. I have been able to locate a sensor in the right area according to a diagram from the part store but it doesnt look exactly like the picture, the one in my car appears to have a 2 wire harness where the picture seems to have only a one wire harness.

Any ideas or input would be appreciated....pics if you have em. thanks in advance!

found it! right behind the oil filter, going to test it now and let you know in case anyone else is needing the same info.

The knock sensor will not cause stalling!! The CKPS and ICM are heat sensitive and one, or the other may be the problem. You could also have a MAF problem. Further diagnostics are required!
