- 2002 Buick Regal
I just inherited a 2002 Regal. Excellent condition, low miles (69k).
Have been driving it the last 2 weeks after replacing a worn out wheel bearing and it's been a pleasure to drive.
We're having a heat wave in the area I live. It was around 100° outside. We were sitting in a Starbucks drive thru lane and the engine just stopped, no warning. Pushed it out to the street, and couldn't get it to start again for half an hour, and even then it ran for a minute then died again. After texting some buddies, one recommended removing the fuel cap to see if there was pressure, and lo and behold there was. After that, the car ran great and got me home with no problem and no CEL.
Is this a common issue anyone else has had? Can anyone make any recommendations?
Thank you so much in advance,
Brian
