I currently have 366,650 miles on my 1999 Buick Century Limited. It was made in Canada, and that has made the difference in its lifespan!

LOL my 2000 Century has 104,000 miles assembled in the Oshawa CA plant. My 93 Park Avenue has 179000 assembled in Missouri. USA. How you drive them and where and how you maintain them makes all the difference but if plant or part location matters forget any country except JAPAN. Most mechanics will tell you the most reliable vehicles are Toyota Lexus Honda Acura and they have plants worldwide but better quality is always said to be Japanese made. The Japanese worker generally takes more pride in his work. The VIN that starts with J. Of course all cars need proper maintenance. Even Japanese. Cheers!

My 05 custom century has 278000 miles on it and is still running strong. Tranny slips though.

My 2001 3.1 L has 107,500 miles on it.
Runs great though.

Please post your miles if u dont mind....just wondering how long these engines will last, im at 58,000 with my 03 but hope it will last much longer🙂 There is a neighbor near me that has 275,000 on his 3.8 lasabre, still running good. Just wondering about the 3.1 century though...

Just put ~$6K in my 2003 Buick Century with 173Kmiles --I've maintained it to perfection and it looks near new but old age means pain so I'm 79 and I hope
my Century out lasts me. I take care of everything except women whose maintenance is never ending.

1994 Buick Century with 3.1L V6. 432,000 miles. Transmission was rebuilt at 247,000 miles. Only engine work has been intake manifold gasket replacement. Still gets 30 mpg on freeway. Passes smog with lots of margin.
