HUD Question

Just purchased a 2025 Envision with HUD, like/love it, but there's a sturdy plastic cover with a tab on corner that sticks up and interferes with the HUD image on windshield. Is that cover something that should have been removed prior to sale? Or is it a permanent fixture I'm supposed to learn to live with. Am headed to dealer today to ask, but just wonder if it had been encountered by others before or I'm being my usual princess and the pea being bothered by the little things?

May have found my own response, someone in July had similar issue and was told to remove it. I did try before posting here, but newness of all, I think I'll still let the dealer have the honors.

Just bought a 2025 Envision and there is a covering on the HUD placement on the dash with a plastic tab on the corner that sticks up and interferes with the visual on the screen. Is that something that should have been removed before selling? Can it be removed? It seems to be firmly attached.
