I have read through this forum and noticed that many people have the same issue with the model vehicle I have. My 99 Buick century has issues with the heat currently. Quick recap, I had ongoing issues with the AC intermittently working this summer. I eventually changed the cabin air filter and discovered half of it was covered in dirt, when I looked into the blower motor I noticed a stick had jammed it, so I removed stick and problem solved perfect A/C for months. Now with winter approaching the heat will not come from the front vents, I assumed blend door actuator, what I have discovered is that the defrost vents will blow hot air but they blow hot air on the passenger side only and cool air on the driver side.
One, I believe it may be the blend door actuator on the driver side
Two, It may be my electronic climate control unit, typical symptoms of no display light etc.
I just wished to get any opinions on this matter as well as if anyone has resolved this issue before.
