...LaCrosse? I seem to use a quart of oil every 2,000 miles or so in my Buick. It is under warranty still, the dealer says this is normal. I have had other cars that didn't use a drop of oil?

Look the motor over real good and make sure its not leaking somewere.
If you find that it is leaking tell the dealer and your warranty should cover gaskets. It is not usual for a car to use oil unless there is definitely something wrong.

I have an 08 Allure which uses ha litre every 5000km-3000mi- Dealer says this is "normal" due to engine design. Very frustrating!!!GM should rethink the design when a new engine uses oil!!!!

my 2007 buick does not burn any oil. changed oil when indicator said to and that was about 10000 miles. never had to add oil
