I am in the middle of installing a JVC with Bluetooth and sub in my 2001 PA.
I have the old unit out, the RCA lines run to the trunk.
I was shocked at all the elecrical equipment everywhere. Fuses and relays, rear door module(!) under the back seat. Fuses under the dash. Computers in the trunk.
Any good ideas to route a power wire from the battery to the trunk? The rear fuse box does not seem to have a substantial feed to tap into.
There is a Delco amp in the trunk. Do I have to do something with this for the JVC to work?

The Delco amp uses high level speaker lines as inputs, it'll work fine. On my '99 I tapped into the battery at the fuse block under the hood. I ran the wire under the car in flexible conduit and up through a hole in the floor under the rear seat.

I've bought quite a few stereos from Crutchfield, and they have all the info to interface a new one into the old system. I put a Pioneer into my old Caddy, and they even had an adapter to interface into the Bose system in the Caddy. It all turned out to be a great sounding system.
You could call them, and they may have info you could use.
