Intellilink Bluetooth Issues

I have a 2015 Regal.
I upgraded my HMI & Radio Modules so I could have Car Play and Android Auto in my car.
You must be Plugged in to USB in order to use CP or AA.
At the time I had an iPhone 7.
One day I couldn't connect to Car Play with my iPhone 7, I messed with it for a very long time trying to fix it
I thought I finally had it figured out that the Lightning Cable had a Break in it, so I purchased another Lightning Cable.
Replacing the Lightning Cable seemed to fix my problem at the time.

I recently purchased an iPhone 12 Pro.
I Removed my iPhone 7 in Bluetooth Setting and Paired my New iPhone 12 Pro.
The iPhone 12 Pro and the New Lightning Cable had been working Flawlessly since my purchase about 3 months ago.
Then all of the sudden the other day I couldn't connect to Car Play again.
I played around with it for hours and couldn't get it to work.

The next day I decided to give it another go.
I purchased a New Lightning Cable and hooked it up, but it didn't work this time around.
For some reason I noticed when I Plugged or Unplugged the iPhone to the lightning cable
it wasn't giving me the Notification that the phone was Connected or Disconnected from the Bluetooth.
When everything is working correctly, I get this notification.

I went straight to Bluetooth Setting and found there were two iPhones listed.
They both said that they were my iPhone (bugspop1's iPhone), but 3 months ago there was only one phone listed.
I was able to connect to one of the iPhones Listed, so I kept that pairing, but the other
iPhone couldn't connect, so I removed it.
Next thing I knew Car Play was working and I was receiving the Connected/Disconnected messages again.

What I figured out is that the Night Before I had Downloaded and Installed the 15.1.1
Update, then the next day I started having these problems!
Not sure if this update had something to do with the second iPhone showing up or not, but it wasn't there 3 months ago.
When I installed my New iPhone 12 Pro, there weren't any phones showing, let alone one that was paired!
Car Play and Bluetooth have both been working just fine the last two days, it wasn't the Lightning Cable as I'm back to using the old cable.

I have a 2015 LaCrosse with a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Amazon Music, but about to go to an iPhone 13. Just wanted to say "thank you" for taking the time to post such a detailed review. It really helps people.

Not a problem Zitsky.
My iPhone 12 Pro has been working great ever since I was able to figure
out there was that second Bluetooth connection.
I'm still assuming it was caused by the 15.1.1 Update I had installed.
I currently have the 15.2 Update and it's working fine.

I figured out the other day that I don't really need to reach up and touch
the Regals Touchscreen to Make Calls or Send Texts, I just Ask Siri for the help.
I don't drive much, so there's not a lot of time for me to play with and figure
out what all the features are and what they do.

In my opinion the upgrade I did to get Apple Car Play and Android Auto was
well worth the investment.
I really wish I could do the same for my wife's 2013 GMC Terrain.

Has anyone here run into the issue of having your phone connected for calls and audio, the calls are perfect and voice controls work but when trying to play any media the only sounds you get are intermittent crackles and popping sounds?
Yes this just started happening. Although it plays calls perfectly fine . It will no longer let me play media sounds/music on Bluetooth and it is frayed out as well. Even usb is grayed out when. Plugged in.

Sorry haven't looked in the threads for a while had to buy a used identical radio and have the dealer program it. Make sure you go off the part number on your current radio and get one off ebay that belonged to another buick not sure if it programs the opening clip that shows the buick or chevy symbol

Unfortunately the car is controlled on a lot of programs in the radio so aftermarket isn't really a good option at all and they don't make replacements so you are looking on ebay where I found tons of them

Go to Configure > Radio settings >Reset radio> it will clear all stored devices and basically start as a fresh set up I did it yesterday and my phone paired In seconds everything works again.

My 2013 enclave doesn’t have a factory reset option, any tips there?

I have a 2019 Buick LaCrosse and my phone works fine with Bluetooth, but I am unable to play music from my Amazon Unlimited music. Anyone have advice as to how I can resolve this issue?

I've been having the same issue for a month or so with my 2013 Encore and Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Android. Unpaired, repair, cuss my frustration etc. It seems to be never ending. Today I came out to find I do not even have a p
Bluetooth icon on my screen...like at all. I even went to the Configuration settings and it doesn't even give me am options to pair a device for a phone. I am so tired of dealing with this I am almost to the point of trading it in for something that works.
I'm having this same issue. I'm really trying to convince my husband to let me trade in for a Toyota Corolla...

I'm having a little bit of trouble myself.
I plug in my iPhone to the Lightening Cable and my iPhone will connect.
But by the time I get my iphone in its holder it disconnects.
I'm also having the same trouble at night when I plug it in to charge.

I have one Lightening Cable in my Car and a different lightening cable
in the house, it disconnects from both cables.
Pretty sure that the problem is with my iPhone, as 2 different cables aren't
working correctly.

Anyway, getting tired of my phone disconnecting from Apple Car Play.
I may end up upgrading my iPhone, heard the new iPhones have the USB-C
(or are going to have USB-C). Guess I could always go back to my iPhone 7, it still
works just fine.

I can connect to Bluetooth but when my phone ring it won’t let me talk threw the cat

Just a note if you get the corolla. Son bought one and had Bluetooth volume issue. Speaker wires broke in front door. Very common apparently.

I have a 2015 Buick Encore and an iPhone. When I try to delete a paired phone from the car’s Bluetooth menu, the system says “Bluetooth is busy” and returns me to the device list instead of letting me delete it.

Has anyone else run into this? Any fixes or tricks that worked?
