Intellilink Carplay HMI Swap

Hey all I have been researching on this forum on the possibilities of adding Carplay to my 2014 Regal. From what I have gathered, all that is needed is a HMI NG 2.5 programmed to my VIN. I am in contact with Chris at White Automobile Media and am wondering if anyone else on this forum has performed this swap with a HMI unit programmed by Chris? Any tips or instructions you can give on your experience would be helpful

The response time on the interlink touchscreen is PAINFULLY slow so I'm interested
