2016 Buick cascada
My backup camera & parking sensors have stopped working, Bluetooth has stopped working, radio randomly shuts off after 20 minutes, steering wheel music controls stopped working…
I have a 2016 cascada, any suggestions?

I'm a new owner of a 2018 Cascada. My IntelliLink seemed to be working well until either my XM trial or OnStart trial began. I have control locks up, "Navigation Loading" message, and a boot loop that I estimate to be every 8-10 minutes (I haven't timed). The symptom seems to be a problem with the car acquiring GPS satellites as when I can get to the Navigation Info page it shows 0 satellites when in boot loop. If is shows any GPS satellites, IntelliLink is stable until the car is shut off.

I tried so many things. I stopped using the USB port with my iPhone. I have tried doing factory resets from the radio menu. I've tried pulling fuse 4 (radio / infotainment) from the fuse panel behind the small storage compartment on the driver's (left) side of the car. I've tried XM radio reset from the XM site. I've tried the OnStar white icon "click click" tip from YouTube (even though it was suggested for Chevrolet systems). I've tried the holding home and forward buttons for 10 seconds tip. No luck with any of that.

My next move is to disconnect the battery and let it sit for about 15 minutes. There is another tip that I saw about leaving the key in the 2nd position (accessory?) and the driver's door open while disconnecting the battery that I haven't tried. I'm a touch frustrated, especially as nothing I find on the Internet directly deals with the Cascada's IntelliLink.

None of this may be helpful to you but at least I empathize with the frustration.

Frustratingly the link for 3G check goes to a random page on MyGMDiscount.com. I'm looking for a better link. I don't think 3G is the issue, however, as everything worked perfectly until I activated OnStar &/or XM.

In other updates, I pulled the liner from the trunk lid to check the connections from the antenna to the radio. They are secure. I haven't pulled the antenna off the trunk to check for any corrosion or water intrusion. That is for another day.

Google GM 3G Sunset and follow the links, they do look flakey but going direct through Google should get you there
