It's ADAS but that has nothing to do with reading a code in the VDAAW module. You definitely won't be able to do any advanced diagnostics and calibrations that ADAS gives you but you only want to know the codes stored in the VDAAW module at this point.Called Autel in reguards to their AP200 blue tooth reader for my problem. Long and short was told it will not give me a code for for "service lane departure". Was told only an expensive reader with AIDOS system will read the problem. Apparently the program $1000 and reader even more. To bad, guess I will have to bend over and go to the dealer, to try and find out. Thanks everyone for info so I could try to avoid a 2nd mrtg.

Same problem w my 2011 Lucerne. They say code B101 D (3C ?). Probably bad module. Checking further, dealer want a second mrtg to scan and maybe repair. Good luck.Another post regarding the same notice, no codes listed but seems to point to the camera module.

Service Lane Departure
Hi All I am getting the above message on my 2008 Lucerne and the system does not work at all, even the small amber light on the switch will not light up. Anyone have any ides on what could be wrong? Thanksbuickforums.com
B101 D (3c ?) ECV hardware performance internal comms failure symptom 3c is what the man wrote down for me. he thought control module ?Which code do you actually have?
B0101 GMC - Driver-Side EFS Not Okay Message
B101D - Electronic Control Unit Hardware - suspect camera module or software
B101 D (3c ?) ECV hardware performance internal comms failure symtom 3c is what the man wrote down for me.Yes I know your issue, this is another post on the subject that may help. Unfortunately unless you have the actual code it's not going to a level of possibly what component. A independent shop may be able to do it, but need to confirm if they can scan at that level and ask up front.
I broke down and bought the Autel AP200 reader off Amazon. Applied for amz cc and got $60 off. Curious to get it Monday or Tuesday. I have had the car a short time, A Body and interior, D miles 250K. Windshield could have been replaced sometime in it's life, I have no way to know. Hoping to at least get rid of the message. I don't care if the lane departure works or not. Will keep trudging along, win, lose or draw. It's ADAS but that has nothing to do with reading a code in the VDAAW module. Have you had a new windshield installed recently?
