Thanks for the link. Much more work involved than I would have thought. The last time I did anything similar was running wires from my under-dash Craig 8 track player to a pair of 4" wedge speakers in my '61 LeSabre.

In fact, so fast and convenient online trading, you should not worry about, looking for a large online store may be able to reduce your concerns.IMHO 216 seems like a nice deal. Its a decent amount of work. I could easily see it taking 4 hours if someone never took apart the inside of a LaCrosse before. If I were doing it myself I would allow the better part of a day , because I would be super careful.

Couldn't agree more!(easy to understand after spending a few minutes on engrish.com)
Wow! Just read the PDF on installing these plates. It does look like a major PITA. I've done jobs like this before, even tackling installing factory NAV in my 2008 Lucerne. This looks 10X harder!
Here's my tutorial on the Lucerne NAV install if you're interested:

Great tutorial, you're a brave man! I don't want to argue but I think your job with the nav install was a lot harder than getting the sills put in. As I recall... my wife and I dropped the car off and went out for breakfast, after that I took a nap. When I got up my wife told me the car guy had called and that we could go retrieve the the car. It really couldn't have been much simpler 🙂
Yeah, apparently my spouse doesn't love me as much as I thought. I had to take down the appliance magnets but at least she's letting me keep my new Death Star Superlaser™ (not easy to find in Buick Ice-Blue by the way). I really hate traffic so... sometimes you just gotta pick your battles with the wife.
