Lesabre HUD Problem?

Alright, first I just want to start off saying Hi everyone! 😀 A relatively youngin over here, and the new proud owner of a '05 Lesabre Limited Celebration edition.

So, I've owned 3 Lesabres already, a 01 Custom, a 02 Limited (Also with HUD) and my newest and most precious acquisition has a bit of a quirk I'm trying to sort out... It's nothing major, and doesn't seem to adversely affect anything with the functioning of said vehicle, but when I turn my left turn signal on, the heads up display flashes that the Hi-Beams are on as well, and vice versa if I turn on the Brights it registers that the left turn signal is constantly on, even though it's not.

I've taken it to a GM Authorized service center and they were baffled, they said it's such a rare option, even for Cadillacs that most of them had only seen a handful, and only one I talked to had said he'd ever actually worked on one. Apparently their quite reliable for the most part and the car tends to die before they do.

So, I come here, to a huge assembly of Buick and car related knowledge and hope that maybe someone can help me with this?

What exactly do you mean by a GM authorized service center, a GM new car dealer?
When you turn on the left side blinker, does the dash indicator blink on the dash and have you looked at the front and rear lights to make sure they also are blinking?
Have you checked all the front and rear ground connections for the lighting system to make sure they are not corroded?

Maybe it's a gimmick or such, but usually it refers (At least around here) to the Service centers attached to GM Dealerships, Like Chevrolet and Buick, etc.

And as for that issue, I've indeed confirmed that when I activate the left turn signal, when I get out of the vehicle all the turn signal lights are going off. Though strangely, and I didn't notice this on my other two Lesabres, the bumper mounter turn signal lights flash out of sync with the rear tail light and main assembly turn light.

Without being able to physically inspect and test, I would suspect the multi-function switch could be causing all the problems.

How much work is it to dig out/replace the Multifunction switch? I know their pricey as hell, but the local auto scrapyard is extremely fair with their prices and he said if I can dig it out myself it'll be just 50$
