Looking @ buying a 1996 Park Avenue Ultra with 21000 miles.

Your Moto G phone has basic phone camera settings and not to great for editing. Try and download from Google playstore a standalone photo editor Like the one I linked.

a screenshot of your own photo on your phone often times will slash the quality significantly to save on image size. Not sure if it would but its the easiest thing to do and takes least amount of time

Yes, your right that works great too. Maybe easier for him to do. Now you show him how to do a screenshot🙂

Hi . This is my first post.Looking for help on what this car might need due to low miles . It has had 2 senior owners & I fit right in as I'm 76 .1st put on 22000 miles until 2010. 2nd & current owner put on less than 5000 since. It's immaculate. What is a fair price & what maintenance should I do? I know these are good cars but what are potential issues. It won't be a daily driver I will put on a few thousand a year. It will be a toy to enjoy & preserve. All options but unfortunately doesn't have the 16' Wheels that I would want to buy in near future.Anyone know up to what year Buick had those wheels? I assume a Lesabre would have had them available too?
Thanks for any help. I will be a very active member of this Forum if this deal goes through.

Yes you need new tires. I suggest Costco or Sam's Club or Discount Tire.

Compress the pics and you can upload them fine

I did that but it was the same result.
Don't know how to take screenshot : ( .
Do you have anything other than a phone, like a laptop, or the conventional (widely still used) "desk top"?

The fluid is fine. You don't need it to look like it just rolled out the factory because it didn't. If you aren't having problems then what is the problem?

Screenshot is beyond my 76 year old mindset : (.
You need to get "Get Smart". Nothing wrong with being 76-yrs old! You can do it with time!

because the fluid may just be from 1995.(year produced, since most cars were made previous year
Dexcool although it isnt a boogeyman there WAS a formulation change and gm got more specific with regards to special instructions. True, the additives and coolant wont be broken down nearly as much as a lot of situations, it is still had a lot of time to sit in a system which is only sealed by a cork gasket on a vented cap(baffled but still)
Plus if system had any rust or breakdowns going on, it would be the time to stop that in its tracks 🙂
Thats a lot of maybes and who knows, but if we get a glimpse of it we will be able to tell a lot 🙂

Radiator cap is spotless & coolant is bright red/orange colour. Just smells a bit.
I will replace with new dexcool as I don't know when it was last changed but 2nd owner said he didn't in last 5 years so I think it's time despite the rap that a lot of people on the net & my indy mechanic think dexcool is trouble & I should switch to glycol.

If the coolant is still from 1995 I'd love to know the dealership that worked on it, lol 😛

I would just do Dex cool again if it looks good. Also I can tell you first hand not to drive on those tires. I thought mine looked great on the century and one day on the highway I lost my tread luckily it was ok the rest of the way home but I was doing 80 and it could have been bad. The tires were original to the car but looked perfect just dry rotted on the inside of the tread. Great car I am jealous and would love to buy that off you one day when your done with it. It’s an amazing example of the 90s Buicks.

No cracks @ all in my tires & I took a 300 mile highway trip @ 70 mph & it was as smooth as glass.I will switch out the Dexcool & tires as soon as I get 16 " Grand Touring Wheels .You think I should change the compressor oil too or with 22000 miles on the car is it ok for a while?

Ok, drive tires that everyone including experts say are unsafe. Do nothing to the vehicle at this point just turn the key and head off down the highway as you apparently have already made up your mind on what to do. Please let us know where you operate this vehicle as I would like to avoid the area at all costs.
