I took my 2014 regal out today and I noticed it’s seriously lacking power but it hasn’t thrown out a code. Does anyone know common issues that would reduce power before I start looking into the turbo?

Start by Checking the simple things: Oil Level, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, etc...

I did all that when I got home it runs fine now it was just a one off time… I let my throttle body relearn the next morning too it hasn’t given any issues since

Why did you relearn the Throttle Body?
Did you take it off and clean it or replace it recently?

I took mine off last year and cleaned it, had to go thru the Learning Procedure after that one.
I just did the same with my daughters 2015 Chevy Equinox the other day, took off the Throttle Body,
Cleaned it, put it back on and ran the Learning Procedure.

I just did it in case that somehow went out of tolerance and it wasn’t opening up correctly, the day it lost power i could still hear my turbo spool up(very slowly) so i figured it was just gasping for air but the filter was clean so that was just my next step down the line

Okay, just wondered.
I'm glad it seems to be running better now.

just curious how did you do the throttle body relearn? And do you think that fixed your problem or did it just kind of go away because I am experiencing the same thing (mines a 13 though so slightly different) but im experiencing loss of power and then car feels over all crappy to drive honestly and it isint throwing any codes or anything and ive been trying to track it down for atleast 2 months now

Google AI says to do this to Relearn TB for a 2013 Buick Regal (After Cleaning or Replacing the Throttle Body):

Manual Throttle Body Relearn
  1. Turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.

  2. Slowly press the accelerator pedal: all the way to the floor over about four seconds.

  3. Hold the pedal down: for three seconds.

  4. Slowly release the pedal: back to its resting position over about four seconds.

  5. Repeat: steps 2 through 4 two more times, for a total of three repetitions.

  6. Turn the ignition off: and remove the key.

  7. Wait about 10 seconds .

  8. Start the engine: and allow it to idle for several minutes to allow the system to initialize and calibrate.

  9. Test drive: the vehicle to ensure the throttle response is smooth and the idle is normal.

It's a different procedure for a 2015 Buick Regal (which is what I have).
Had to start it and let it Idle for 3 minutes, turn it off for 1 minute.
Start and let idle for another 3 minutes, then turn off.
Take car for a drive to see if it's running correctly, repeat procedure again if needed.
