low fuel light

hello everyone

it seems that my low fuel light doesn't come on. on startup you can see the light come on as part of the test of the dashboard.

the verano 2014 does have this feature ?

Our '13 does, the tank has to be very low before it will come on, as I've learned, when it does come on, it doesn't mean get gas in 50 miles, or even 20 miles, it means GET GAS NOW!!! Wife drives 3 miles per day rnd trip. Came on while she was heading to work, she came home, that night we went out, stopped to get gas, 15.6 gal. tank, took 15.8 gal. to fill it up.

You should also get a notification in the DIC. If you have Nav, it will also ask you if you want to be routed to the nearest gas station. Pretty cool.

On my new turbo Verano the light comes on on e and I could drive 50 miles, mostly 80 percent Highway. My turbo Verano comes on just a half mill above e. It can go about 40 to 45 miles. Also with 80 percent being Highway. That is with me driving like normal and not trying to achieve super high gas mileage. There is also a warning message that shows up in the center console. The premium model with nav shows up in the touch screen too.

ok so i am not out of my mind.. i don't have nav, and if the info system is set to mileage left on tank then it will warn you by telling you the fuel is to low to calculate, if you have it set to speed then no warnings.
this is a flaw that buick needs to fix. that fuel light should come on like every other car.

No matter what you have displayed in the DIC, the low fuel warning will appear. It's just like the low wiper fluid or the Ice is Possible warning that comes up when it's cold. I have my DIC set to speed and these warnings always appear.

Page 5-28 of the manual talks about the low fuel warning in the DIC (at least that's page 5-28 for the 2013 manual).

I have a 2007 buick lucerne and my Car keep saying I have low mileage but my Gass light doesn't come on when it say low mileage. Everytime it get to that point I fill it up then when I park a certain way all my Gas gone I'm back on low mileage what do I do ?
