Buick Ownership
2006 Buick Lacrosse CX 3.8L
I have a 2006 Buick LaCrosse CX 3.8L. I recently did a tune up on it, including changed all spark plugs and wires, and coil packs as well. Now for some reason that I can't figure out for the life of me it only is only running on 2 cylinders. The OBD2 says "random misfire. I know, common sense would say to make sure to check the order of the wires. I checked and rechecked. Has anybody had the same issue? I checked wiring, didn't see any broken wires going to the coil packs. Is there possibly some how that certain coil packs go in to certain spots like could I have flip flopped them? Didn't seem likely to me..

It’s possible the coil packs got swapped, even if it seems unlikely. Double-check their placement and all connections. It could also be an issue with the injectors or a vacuum leak.
