Max defrost

False alarm on the startup volume, I just didn’t wait long enough for the car/radio to completely turn off, I guess.

I did all the resets in the radio and the Max Defrost is still only going to about half-speed and the chimes when I first start the car are still louder than the Chime Volume setting. GAH. So strange.

@BuickGirlFromMars I see you post a lot of good stuff here, have any advice for me?

When you press max defrost it will only ramp speed up half way look at your owners manual for specifics for max defrost function

My manual says “Max Defrost: Clears the windshield of fog or frost more quickly. Air is directed to the windshield.”

And when I press it it doesn’t turn on or off AC or recirculation…. Not that the manual says it should, but many other cars do that. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but I thought it used to go to max speed.
