well I got about 2,400 dollars as of now saved up since I just got payed today.
but the selection of buicks around me (Im talking 100 miles or less) are not that.. many. im gonna call a transmission shop on monday i think and see what they may charge to replace the trans. I already know its shot since the shear amount of debris that happened, and im not dropping that much for a full rebuild (if it could be even). I even looked for Buick Lesabre Limiteds (I wouldnt want a custom)
but we will see. If so, I need to budget a radiator, trans cooler lines, updating registration on the plates, fuel lines(they are rusty af) and replacing the BCM(my bcm is dying thats unrelated lol!), and a new battery. I also need to replace my battery tray or figure out a way to hold down a battery. the captured stud on mine broke off. New headlights(mine are foggy) and a couple tie rods and an alignment.
I can wait on the tie rods and alignment because the only reason I would need to is because I have bad boots on otherwise currently ok tie rods. They will wear out fast but I can go through the winter with them, ya know?
I also need a tensioner for my supercharger but thats low priority.
something to mull over
