mirror signal light stays turns on when headlights turn on

I have a 2005 lesabre limited. When the nightime lights are turned on, the right signal light on the dash stays lit and the right mirror signal light stays lit. The HUD also says that the signal light is on. Has anybody had this problem? Will replacing the flasher solve the problem?

Look for a bulb that is grounding out.
