The service manager just contacted me advising the rims and tires are in and just texted me the picture. Getting installed on Friday. American Racing rims with 255/35/20 Blizzaks. I will post pictures after they are installed.

They look nice. I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a winter tire setup though.
Thanks. I love the stock 20's and do not want to expose them to crap that is dispersed on the roads.

I understand that feeling / sentiment. I'd just be looking for a cheaper option that didn't use 20" wheels and winter tires as I alluded to in my GS Winter Wheel / Tire thread.

Due to the car being so new, those of us with the GS have entered uncharted territory trying to find a winter rim setup that works for these cars.

My original plan was to get a Regal GS in the spring when winter was done so I wouldn't have to deal with this for a year. However, I'm currently without a car, so that might not be an option. Then again I refuse to buy a GS that doesn't have Intellilink so who knows when I might actually get one.

Any pics since they've been installed?

Keep us updated on how that thing handles in the snow with 20's. I didnt even know they made 20 inch tires in a snow tire. Whats the smallest size you can go with the GS...19 inch?

There's indications that some 18" aftermarket wheels will clear the front Brembo brakes as happened on the G8 GXP which seems to have the same Brembos as the GS, but it's still an unproven theory at this point.

Looks very nice. Make sure you stay away from the curbs!

Looks too nice to run in the winter

How do they drive/noise?

How do they drive/noise?
They drive what you would expect a snow tire expect to do on the highway and they have not seen any snow as of yet. Regarding the noise, they are slightly louder than the P zeros.

I hate to bump this when we should be nearing nice weather, but I wanted to offer up another solution for people with winter tire/rim concerns. I ordered a GS knowing that I would have to drop quite the amount of cash on wheels and tires for the winter. However, I had completely forgotten about PlastiDip. For those not wanting to buy winter wheels, I have heard that this stuff will stand up to a winter/salt. This is an awesome alternative to buying a second set of wheels when you can keep the stockers protected. Link for those not familiar with the product, very cool stuff.

Rims and tires look nice. How did they do over the winter?

gpkid16, with swapping tire's costing $20 a piece, that's $160 a year. To me, way easier to just buy another set of rims. Nice alternative though.....
