Navigation Initializing at Start Up

I've had the 2013 Verano for a couple months and used the navigation feature about 10 times. Just recently I used it for directions and ever since then, I start up and the black screen comes up for a minute saying Navigation Initializing. Then it goes to the Home screen which requires me to push the back button or Now Playing button to get to the music screen. It use to just go to the music screen and stay there after start up.

did you cancel or complete the route you had entered into the navigation system?

There's a recent thread on the Regal forum with the same issue.

I did. I press the back button and it offered to cancel guidance. I always cancel return route.

Does anyone have an answer to the question? I'm having the same problem.
