Hey all you RMW lovers, i’m having issues with my 96. My headlights won’t come on and in order to drive at night I have to hold the directional signal bar back which will bring on my highbeams. This makes me think that my bulbs are working and maybe it’s the Sentinel or the dimmer switch. Also, I have a pretty significant power steering fluid leak that I have to refill every 2 to 3 days. Also, it takes me 3 to 4 Kranks before the car will start. And last but not least, my electric fan is unplugged but continues to run. I love this car but I’m starting to get all these crazy gremlins. If anybody has any ideas or info on how to fix these, I would be most appreciative. Thanks much!

I'm not sure about the lights, but your hard starting and fan problem may be related to the temp switch/sensor. Is the SES light on? On my 96 RMS, I have a temp sensor code, the temp gauge doesn't work, and it's also hard to start when the engine is warm(fires right up first start of the day), and the cooling fan runs constantly. I'm pretty sure my problem is in my wiring, cause I've replaced both temp sensors numerous times and even replaced the PCM. Not sure if yours is having the same problems, but that's all I can think of. Good luck, Adam

Thks Adam, what’s SES light & temp switch sensor? I am a total ignoramus when it comes to cars and these things you cite are not familiar to me. Could you explain a little bit more about what they are and do please? Sorry for my stupidity. Thank you
