Had a puddle of water show up on the front passenger side floor after the last rain storm. Vacuumed it up then sat inside to watch during the next rain. Noticed it dripping from the blower fan area. Have had the car for 6 months with no issues until this week. Has been through heavy rains prior to this with no leaking. Where do I begin to look for what's wrong?

Thanks

It sounds like the condensate drain in the lower fan box is plugged up with trash. That will have to be opened & cleaned from under the car.

Did some research on this and looks like what you explained is the AC condensate drain. Forgot to mention in the OP that this vehicle doesn't have an operating AC so would this still be the probable cause? Also this didn't happen during driving, the vehicle has been parked during the rain events.

In your case the best way is to have someone do some gentle spraying with a hose while you get down low and see where water is coming in. You have a rust hole or a sealant bead split on the cowl somewhere. You eliminated a lot of possibilities when you said the car took water in while just sitting. You will not have to worry about the a/c if it's inoperative. Make sure you peel the carpet so water doesn't get trapped on the floorboards and rust them out.

Its from your cabin filter panel. Did you change the filter recently? the panel was either not installed back properly or, there is a 2 foot rubber seal right above the filter that blocks water. That seal probably moved out of place. Remove the panel and you should find the issue. Basically all rain water is going onto the filter and flowing inside. It needs to be redirected to the drain that's next to the filter. Here is a video of it:
