Changing the PCV valve. Yea, I know.
Got a wonderful dime-sized blister on my thumb from trying to get the damn MAP sensor back ON after taking it off. Took me 30 mins. Had my fingers wrapped in Gorilla tape. My right tennis elbow (wsib injury) has flared up. Nearly broke the MAP sensor.
One of those things you just dont expect from an easy part swap. I think the high-mileage oil swelled the O-ring and that's what made it so damn hard to put back.
Anyways, in case you encounter the same issue here's how to get the MAP sensor back on.
Line up the two slots and push down HARD. Then use a blunt object and hit at the rear slot until it starts to move. And have some silicone lube on hand to help it slide easier.
I should have known something was up when on the youtube video i watched the sensor went from not put back then cut to fully put back.
